Waterpark Rules

General Park Rules

  • For safety and security of yourself and others, valid wristbands are required for admittance to the waterpark and must be worn and visible at all times.
  • Children under the age of 13 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is at least 16 years of age and responsible for their direct supervision.
  • Guests with heart conditions, high blood pressure, neck or back problems or expectant mothers are not permitted to ride the slides. For a detailed description of certain medical conditions, please refer to the Accessibility Guide.
  • Guests that are prone to seizures or that have serious medical conditions must be accompanied at all times by an individual who is knowledgeable of their condition and responsible for their direct supervision.
  • If you suffer from a severe medical condition, please inform Guest Services upon your arrival so that staff can be notified.
  • All diaper-age children must wear a Swim Diaper at all times. Regular diapers are not permitted. Swim diapers are available at Guest Services free of charge.
  • Parents must stay within arm’s reach of their children at all times.
  • All guests under 52” must have a wristband indicating the tallest slide they are legally allowed to ride as mandated by Technical Standards and Safety Authority guidelines.
  • Proper bathing attire must be worn in the Waterpark. For a detailed description please read the Bathing Attire section.
  • No balloon or outside flotation devices (water wings, noodles, puddle jumpers, non-approved personal life jackets and anything inflatable) are not permitted in the waterpark.
  • The lifejackets provided by Fallsview Indoor Waterpark are safety approved, and may be used in any area of the Waterpark except on the Waterslides, Whirlpools, or in the deep area of the Wave Pool.
  • Fallsview Indoor Waterpark uses chlorine to treat the water. To avoid irritation, avoid extended periods in the Waterpark, and shower immediately upon exiting using warm water, soap and rinse thoroughly.
  • Every bather shall take a cleansing shower using warm water and soap before entering or reentering the whirlpools.
  • Running and diving are not permitted in any area of Fallsview Indoor Waterpark.
  • No guest having a communicable disease or open sores on his or her body shall enter any body of water.
  • No glass containers or outside Food or Beverages are allowed in the Waterpark. Restaurant food and beverages must remain in the restaurant, bar, and carpeted areas only.
  • No guest shall pollute the water in any manner; spitting, spouting of water and blowing the nose in any body of water or on the deck are prohibited.
  • Guests engaging in boisterous play or acting in an unsafe or profane manner or in a manner not conducive to a family atmosphere will be required to leave immediately and without refund.
  • For the health and safety of our guests, Fallsview Indoor Waterpark (including Sunnyside Pool and Patio) is a smoke-free environment. Smoking areas are located outside on the S (Street) floor of the complex.
  • Guests who are intoxicated or are under the influence of drugs are not permitted in the Waterpark.
  • For the safety and protection of guests, the use of cameras, cell phones, tablets, video cameras, and any digital photography equipment are prohibited in all bathroom/locker room areas.
  • No outdoor footwear is permitted in any area of the Waterpark.
  • Aquatic Staff are trained in First Aid. If you require assistance, please contact the closest Staff Member.
  • Aquatic Staff Whistle Signals:
    • 1 short whistle: Guest attention.
    • 2 short whistles: Waterpark Staff attention.
    • 1 long whistle: Clear the attraction (pools, waterslides, play structures, and all equipment) and wait for further instructions.
  • Pets are not permitted in Fallsview Indoor Waterpark. For information on our service animal policy, please refer to the Accessibility Guide.

  • Fallsview Indoor Waterpark is not responsible for lost or items left unattended and unsecured. Please ensure all belongings are locked in a locker. All lost and found items will be returned to or stored at Guest Services.
  • Before attempting an attraction, please review and follow all safety rules, signs and follow all staff instructions.
  • All Riders must be height measured at time of arrival to determine slide usage

All rides, attractions, space and devices in this area are owned or operated by Canadian Niagara Hotels Inc. or an affiliate thereof. Neither Canadian Niagara Hotels Inc. nor any of it’s affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents or others used engaged or employed by Canadian Niagara Hotels Inc. or it’s affiliates shall be responsible for any injury, loss or damages howsoever caused which may occur to, or be suffered by any person, in, on, using, or in connection with any premises in Fallsview Indoor Waterpark area.

The Affiliates, contractors, directors, officers agents, employees and others referred to shall be deemed to be beneficiaries of this disclaimer and Canadian Niagara Hotels Inc. and /or it’s affiliates is or shall be deemed to be acting as agent or trustee on behalf of and for the benefit of all such persons.

Sunnyside Pool & Patio Rules

  • Pool capacity with be limited to 20 bathers.
  • Children 12 years and under and all non-swimmers (under the age of 16 years) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is at least 16 years of age and responsible for their direct supervision.
  • The depth of the pool is 0.74 metres.
  • The Sunnyside Pool is unsupervised.
  • No diving or running.
  • Waterballs and lifejackets are available at Guest Services.
  • Tubes and mats are not permitted.
  • Due to thunder and/or lightning, or other extreme weather conditions, this pool may be closed. Please follow the directions of the Waterpark Staff.
  • Shoulder rides are not permitted.
  • No jumping from behind basketball nets.
  • No food, glass containers or non-water beverages are allowed outside.
  • Hanging on basketball rims, backboards or nets are not permitted.
  • Rough play is not permitted.
  • Do not throw anything over the railing.
  • No balloon or outside flotation devices (water wings, noodles, puddle jumpers, personal lifejackets and anything inflatable), water toys, snorkels, and fins are not permitted in the pool.
  • No smoking in pool or on the patio.
  • All diaper age children must wear a Swim Diaper at all times. Regular diapers are not permitted. Swim diapers are available at Guest Services free of charge.
  • Hours of operation is subject to availability due to weather conditions and hours of operation

Horseshoe Hot Springs Rules

  • Children under 16 years of age are not permitting in the hot tubs or enclosure.
  • Persons with known health or medical conditions should consult a physician before using the whirlpools.
  • Due to the high temperature, pregnant/expectant mothers should not enter the whirlpools.
  • Do not use the whirlpools if you have an open sore or rash, or are experiencing nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
  • Overexposure may cause fainting; 10 to 15 minutes may be excessive for some guests. Cool down periodically and leave the hot tub if nausea or dizziness occurs and alert a member of the Aquatic Staff.
  • Enter and exit the whirlpools slowly.
  • The depth of the whirlpools is 0.7 metres.
  • Do not play or swim near drains or suction devices. Body parts, hair, jewelry and other objects may become trapped and cause serious injury or drowning. People with long hair should be especially careful.
  • Do not enter or remain in the hot tub if a drain cover or suction fitting is loose, broken or missing. Immediately notify a Waterpark Staff member.
  • Every bather shall take a cleansing shower using warm water and soap before entering or reentering the whirlpools.
  • Maximum capacity of each whirlpool is 8 persons.
  • Horse Hot Springs are open from 10:00am – 6:00pm while in park is open.

Tidal Wave Pool Rules

  • All Children under the age of 10 who do not meet the swimming competency standard are required to be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is at least 16 years of age who is responsible for their direct supervision.
  • Enter from the beach only. Please do not climb down the ladders.
  • Ladders are available for a quick exit only. Do not hang on the ladders.
  • Do not jump or dive into the Wavepool
  • No guest shall hang from or hold onto buoy line or walls.
  • Remain clear of walls and column when waves are in operation.
  • Only Fallsview Indoor Waterpark lifejackets are permitted in the shallow area of the Wavepool with parents within arm’s reach. Outside flotation devices (water wings, noodles, puddle jumpers, personal lifejackets and anything inflatable), water toys, mats, snorkels, and fins are not permitted in the pool.
  • Only clear Fallsview Indoor Waterpark inner tubes are permitted in the wavepool.
  • No person shall engage in boisterous play in or about the pool.
  • Shoulder Rides are not permitted.
  • No guests are permitted behind the buoy line.
  • There are only a set number of clear inner tubes in the wavepool. Guests are only permitted 1 tube per person (if available).
  • More than 1 person on a wavepool inner tube is not permitted.
  • Kneeling or standing on tubes is not permitted.
  • No person having a communicable disease or open sores on his or her body shall enter any body of water.
  • No person shall bring a glass container onto the deck or into the pool.
  • No person shall pollute the water in the pool in any manner; spitting, spouting of water and blowing the nose in the pool or on the deck are prohibited.
  • Emergency use telephones are located at lifeguard stations.
  • Maximum depth of the Wavepool is 1.60 metres.
  • All diaper age children must wear a Swim Diaper at all times. Regular diapers are not permitted. Swim diapers are available at Guest Services free of charge.

Tiny Tot’s Splash Park Rules

  • All Children under the age of 10 who do not meet the swimming competency standard are required to be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is at least 16 years of age who is responsible for their direct supervision.
  • Running or jumping is not permitted.
  • Play near drains or suction devices is not permitted. Your body, body pars, hair, jewelry and other objects may become trapped and cause injury or drowning. People with long hair should be especially careful.
  • Do not enter or remain in the Splash Park if a drain cover or suction fitting is loose, broken or missing. Immediately notify Waterpark staff.
  • All diaper age children must wear a Swim Diaper at all times. Regular diapers are not permitted. Swim diapers are available at Guest Services free of charge.
  • Tiny Tots Splash Park is closed daily between 1:30pm – 3:00pm.

Jungle Beach Rules

  • Guests that are 48 inches (1.22 metres) and under only.
  • A parent or an adult must supervise children at all times.
  • No running or horseplay.
  • No climbing on the outside of the play structure
  • No food or drink inside play structure.
  • All guests must dry off before use.

Beach House Rules

  • Only Children 16 and Under are permitted to ride the slides in the Beach House
  • Maximum occupancy per slide: 1 Guest – 300 lbs or 136 kg.
  • Riding Position: Waterslides must be ridden feet first while lying on your back with your legs firmly crossed at the ankles and your arms folded across your chest. Riding waterslides improperly may cause injury.
  • Guests must be at least 40 inches to ride small yellow, and green slides.
  • Guests must be at least 40 inches to ride big yellow, green and blue slides.
  • Children 6 years and under and all non-swimmers (under 16 years of age) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is at least 16 years of age and responsible for their direct supervision.
  • No running or jumping.
  • Tubes and mats are not permitted on these waterslides.
  • Only one guest shall enter a waterslide at a time. No bunching or chaining by guests permitted.
  • Guest must wait for the Aquatic Staff, start signal, and traffic light before entering the waterslide.
  • Caution: Guests with heart conditions, high blood pressure, neck or back problems or expectant mothers are not permitted on the slides. For a detailed description of certain medical conditions, please refer to the Accessibility Guide.
  • No guest shall dive, run, stand, kneel, rotate, stop or anything else that would disrupt a continuous ride in the waterslide. Arms, hands, legs and feet must be kept inside the waterslide at all times.
  • Swimwear with exposed zippers, buckets, rivets or metal ornamentation are not permitted. For a detailed description please read the Bathing Attire section.
  • Eyeglasses must be securely fastened with head straps (sold at Guest Services) or must be held by rider.
  • Wet suits, lifejackets, water wings puddle jumpers or other flotation devices are not permitted on the waterslides.
  • The depth of the water at the end of the waterslide is less than 8 inches.
  • Obey all staff instructions.
  • At the end of the waterslide, exit quickly and watch your step.
  • Valves and handles are accessible to allow children and adults to throttle and play with the water. We encourage you and your children to turn, pull and open these valves to have fun with the water effects you create.

Extreme Slide Racing

  • Maximum occupancy per slide: 1 Guest – 300 lbs or 136 kg.
  • All Riders must be height measured at time of arrival to determine slide usage
  • Riding Position: Canyon Drop (yellow) and Sky Screamer (orange) must be ridden feet first while lying on your back with your legs firmly crossed at the ankles and your arms folded across your chest. Riding waterslides improperly may cause injury.
    Guests must be at least 42 inches to ride body slides
  • Riding Position: Thunder (blue) and Kamakazi (purple) slides must be ridden with a proper mat, head first with a firm grip on both mat handles. Riding waterslides improperly may cause injury.
    Guests must be at least 48 inches to ride mat slides
  • Mats are only permitted on Thunder (blue) and Kamakazi (purple) slides. Tubes are not permitted on any Extreme slide.
  • Only one guest shall enter a waterslide at a time. No bunching or chaining by guests permitted.
  • Guest must wait for the Aquatic Staff, start signal, and traffic light before entering the waterslide.

Toob Tower Rules

  • Maximum occupancy: 1 Guest – Single tube – 300 lbs or 136 kg
    2 Guests – Double tube – 400 lbs or 182 kg
    All guests must be at least 42 inches and over to ride
  • All Riders must be height measured at time of arrival to determine slide usage
  • The use of tubes is mandatory on this ride.
  • Riding Position: Slides must be ridden facing forward. Stay seated in the inner tube for the entire ride and keep a firm grip on both handles.
  • The heavier guest must ride in the back of the double tube.
  • Mats are not permitted.
  • Only one guest shall enter a waterslide at a time. No bunching or chaining by guests permitted.
  • Guest must wait for the Aquatic Staff, start signal, and traffic light before entering the waterslide.
