What to do outside of the Waterpark

WP_FB2You’ve spent all day splashing in the wave pool, racing down the slides and relaxing in the hot springs but you still have a few more days left to enjoy Niagara Falls. What’s there to do that’s nearby? Well you could always return to the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark again or take a look at this list of other family friendly attractions that are a short walk away.

Falls Avenue: Check out the Iwerks 4-D Motion Theatre that puts on a thrilling and exciting theatre experience, playing the Happy Feet 4-D Experience and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.  Also not to be missed at Falls Avenue is Adventure City, where you can save the streets of Niagara Falls during your recruitment into a Special Forces team at the Tour Bus Swat Team or travel into the depths of the jungle and avoid the dangers that are in store for you in the Wild Safari Mini Putt.

Falls Avenue Resort Dining: Niagara Falls has no shortage of amazing culinary options for even the most picky of eaters. From the Hard Rock Café that features a tex-mex menu to the Rainforest Café, a favourite among little ones, to Planet Hollywood with its Sci-Fi and Adventure themed dining rooms, there is plenty to satisfy the family just steps from the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark.

Fun for all ages

Fun for tots to teens

There’s something in store for tiny tots to teens at the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark in Niagara Falls. The Fallsview Indoor Waterpark spans three acres featuring 16 waterslides and a giant wave pool!

Tiny tots

Of course the giant wave pool and sky-high slides aren’t the best spots for the tiniest of family-members, that’s why the Tiny Tots Splash Park is perfect for the enjoyment of toddlers. The Tiny Tots Splash Park features water streams, mushroom water pods, kids’ slides, soakers and more.

Kids

Kids just want to have fun – and at the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark, they’re in for a lot of fun. Kids can play in the Outdoor Activity Pool and they can meet other kids in the Children’s Play Area. If kids are really looking for a jolt of excitement, they can stand underneath the Niagara Tipping Bucket where everyone and everything below the bucket is drenched with one thousand gallons of water. But, if the kids have had enough splashing around, they can still have fun in the water park’s dry zone, the Jungle Beach Playland, where they travel through the jungle and have a great view of the water park.

Teens

“Ready. Set. Go.” – That’s what teens will be saying when they are racing their friends down the Extreme Racing Slide and the Toob Tower. But once the urge to compete subsides, they can just have a blast in Niagara’s best wave pool, or spin their way down the Canadian Plunge, a centrifuge super bowl, on a big comfy tube.

Fun for the entire family

While kids at the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark most definitely have a plethora of activities to partake in, adults will also find plenty of ways to relax and have fun at North America’s largest indoor waterpark.

As the sixth largest water park in the world, it contains 16 waterslides, a giant wave pool and kids movie nights complete with pajamas and Pixar films—an absolute kids paradise. However, there’s much for parents to love as well.

The Fallsview Indoor Waterpark boasts a Horseshoe Hot Springs, numerous dining options and is in walking distance to 95,000 square feet of gaming facilities. With the children enjoying all 16 waterslides, parents can relax tired muscles in the hot springs. After a full day in the water, adults can also enjoy numerous mature dining options; including the intimate ‘Windows by Jamie Kennedy’.

So if you’re planning a vacation down to Niagara Falls that includes the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark and you think it’s just for the kids, think again!
